Help in Studio One Artist recording software?

I know that you can use the qwerty keyboard on your computer to play the effects from things like presence, the keyboard sounds in studio one, i want to know how to use a regular piano keyboard instead of the qwerty keyboard, maybe this is possible using midi connections? i have no idea..but i have a presonus audio box with midi connections if that helps so.
