Lg rumor touch question?

Ive had it for like 5 months and for the past few weeks the screen isnt working.when i open the keyboard to text i cant see the screen at all.i can see the screen when the keyboard is closed.i never dropped it and its not scratched.why is this happening and can it be fixed?its the virgin mobile lg rumor touchis this happening and can it be fixed?its the virgin mobile lg rumor touch
