If keyboard is broken on laptop????????? please help!!!?

Ok so a while ago due to water damage my keyboard broke on my laptop it will turn on but I can't do anything cause the keyboards broken is there any way to get it fixed about how much would tht cost? If u can't fix it can I just buy another keyboard and plug it up to my laptop? Please answer I need help!
